Report Templates

Testing Report Templates

When submitting a report to a Requester, the Tester must provide a clear and professional document. We suggest using one of the templates provided below as a foundation for your report. However, feel free to infuse your own creative touch, especially considering the unique aspects of the penetration test or security service at hand. As an example, a thick client report will likely have to be edited to include the Application name in the scope instead of a target URL or Address.

However, it is mandatory that each submitted report includes the Hackybara Cover page that contains the Hackybara logo, Requester name, and composer of the report, which should be placed on the first page of the template documents. When submitting a phishing engagement or vulnerability scan report, please include any CSV or equivalent files of information retrieved.

Here are example templates below:

  • Penetration Testing Report Template (Mobile, Web, Thick, Reverse Engineering)
  • Simplified Testing Report Template (Mobile, Web, Thick, Reverse Engineering)
  • Vulnerability Scanning Report Template (Scanning)
  • OSINT Testing Report Template (OSINT)
  • Phishing Engagement (Phishing)
